Problem:
1920's galley kitchen. No storage space, minimal counter space, no place for a modern day refrigerator.
Wishlist:
Light and bright, functional space with storage to fit needs, more counter prep space, and to place refrigerator so it makes sense in the room.

My solution:
In order to gain storage and counter space in this kitchen we opened up the nook area and removed one window to provide wall space for additional cabinetry. By relocating the range I was able to create the perfect spot for the refrigerator, nicely tucked away by the wall. All while creating a larger opening to the dining room and recreating the original charming arch detail featured throughout the home, pictured below.
